We offer one-on-one counselling and group programs. We help with: Anger management, Substance use support, Trauma-informed care, Family & relationship counselling.
Matters of the Heart Training Center (MOTHTC)
We teach professionals and run certifications. Our courses help people become confident helpers and licensed trainers. Example courses: Anger Management Certification, IPV (Intimate Partner Violence) Training, Addiction Counselor Training.

Led by Dr. Yolanda Walcott-Mitchell, CACII, CAMS, MATS, CRPS, our practice is rooted in compassion, accountability, and clinical excellence. We specialize in substance abuse treatment, trauma-informed therapy, anger management, and family counseling.
Our approach integrates evidence-based methods—including CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and narrative therapy—with a deep respect for each client’s unique story.
